The event will feature a variety of program elements, including films, inspirational speakers, authors, scientists, national park rangers, and more.

An evening with Tim Palmer

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, American Rivers is hosting an evening with Tim Palmer. Tim has been taking photos of America’s rivers and natural landscapes for more than 40 years and may have the most complete collection of river photos, with images from watersheds all across the US. He is the award-winning author of 25 books about rivers, conservation, and adventure travel. Tim has been touring the country in recent months, sharing stunning images and stories from his most recent book is Wild and Scenic Rivers: An American Legacy.
