Who doesn’t Love! Rivers!!! I stood ankle deep in mud to paint this scene along the St Croix River. Any activity along or in a river is wonderfully soothing to the soul. I Love painting river scenes because you become so immersed in the experience of gentle movement and colorful reflections. The organic twists and turns in the rivers reveal peaks of bluffland forests ahead. The last sunlight of the day illuminating treetops and soft reflections into the water mesmerize and teach me how to be in life. Soft, cool, reflective.
