A River

The Coweeman hike walk in Kelso towards the Columbia- the beauty as I walked and watched the river as it flows and the adventure along it, the beauty as it winds and the sound as it moves over the rocks, sparkling and very small ducks peeking to find a brother or sister and especially Mommy who is bit far away. When they take off with a splash and glide smoothly over that river watching closely below them until they catch a view of movement of something just under the water, and at the same time see a blue heron poised serenely on the water. There is no fear just peace!
