One of my favorite memories from my youth involved the family trips to various scenic areas along the Columbia River. These involved such locations including Beacon Rock and the Grand Coulee Dam, where occasionally we could see salmon traversing the dam. But my favorite location along the Columbia was Multnomah Falls! If my memory serves me correctly, there was a way you could get behind the falls and view it almost from the ‘inside’! Spectacular!
