Colorado River thru the GrandCanyon

40 years ago, I was fortunate enough to take a float trip on the Colorado for the whole length of the Grand Canyon. I remember the silence being so deep that we could hear the bats at night, and the stars seeming so close. I remember the junction of the Colorado and the Little Colorado rivers, and the mud, where we all took mud baths. Later on, the picture of the mudmen was pictured in an issue of the
Arizona Highways magazine.
