I grew up and still live in Arizona. Our 2 largest metro areas (Phoenix and Tucson) have dry riverbeds that only flow after very heavy rain or snowmelt from the mountains occurs. Rivers that flow year round sound wonderful to me. I have seen several that are magical. Long live rivers!!!
