Rivers Bring Life

Michaela Drougas | Colorado River, Grand Canyon

One of the coolest river experiences that I’ve really enjoyed was going through the Grand Canyon. I’ve been on one other rafting trip before but it was just a couple hour trip, it wasn’t that long.

I think that the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon is really neat because the Canyon feels really untouched and wild. It’s something that seems hard to find these days. So many places are overcrowded and full of pollution. It’s really amazing how intact everything is.

The river carries so life throughout the canyon. Rivers like the Colorado have persevered so much and they are incredibly resilient and innovative. They find new ways bringing life to people and the areas around them. I think it’s shows a lot that you can learn from rivers as a person. I also love how rivers like the Colorado brings people together with rafting trips and recreation brings a lot of people together from all walks of life itself is really awesome.
