My First Packraft Race

Luke Rollie Rogers | McCarthy, Alaska

We set out for our first race early on a hot, sunny day in the Wrangells. Up 2500 vertical feet to national pass, and immediately back down steep, sharp shale. The whitewater was superb, even though it was a little on the low side. I had lots of fun, a few swims, and made a few new good friends. Excited to participate in the wilderness classic at some point now!
